Zeitgarten (lit. time garden), the Transitory Museum at Pfyn and Elmathaf Elrahal (the itinerant museum) are contemporary art projects by swiss artist duo Alex Meszmer and Reto Mueller.
In 2006 swiss artists Alex Meszmer and Reto Mueller founded Zeitgarten (lit. time garden), Communication and Collection Point for his/herstory and stories. Every Friday afternoon, they invited the people of Pfyn for coffee and cake and to bring photos, stories and material about Pfyn. Ever since Meszmer and Mueller scan, document and archive Life in Pfyn.
The Transitory Museum at Pfyn's History Trail will guide you to ten places in town. You will find enamel plates with photos and stories. Additionally there is a Flyer with facts and figures.
The opening ceremony of Transitory Museum at Pfyn took place 2007 in Trotte Pfyn. The history trail about stories and history of Pfyn was declared open 2007. The exhibition in Trotte Pfyn (a cooperation with Amt für Archäologie Thurgau https://archaeologie.tg.ch) was realized 2008. 2017 the exhibition was renewed.
Elmathaf Elrahal (the itinerant museum) appeared for the first time in Asyut, Egypt on the 11th December 2018.
